Warsaw. On 16-20 March 2015, at the Conference Centre of the National Stadium in Warsaw, the Meetings Week Poland was held – a marathon of conference events promoting the importance of the meetings industry in Poland. Almost one thousand representatives of the meetings industry participated in the conferences and workshops as part of the Meetings Week Poland.
 
Main objectives of the project are education, promotion, integration of the environment and building dialogue between various sectors of the market. The Meetings Week Poland was an educational platform, forum for the exchange of opinions and an attempt to find solutions on issues relevant to the industry. During five days of the conference, the invited guests and participants discussed the issues most important in terms of the industry development and formulated findings and postulates whose implementation was required to make it possible to talk about the competitiveness in the international aspect. The idea of the Meetings Week Poland is also to highlight the importance of the meetings industry for the national economy and its autonomy and value in terms of the implementation of business objectives. The Department of Tourism of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism is a strategic partner of the event.
