Late Feburary saw the foundation ceremony for the expansion of Munich’s new fair centre. The expansion of hall C3, new construction of hall C4 and of the north entrance are slated for completion by late 2004. After investments of 96 million euros the centre will boast a total hall space of 180,000 sqm in 2005. 40,000 sqm will be earmarked for the World Cup media centre from late 2005 to July 2006. www.messe-muenchen.de
