Construction has started on the new International Congress Centre Stuttgart (ICS). By 2007 the 806-million-euro investment will provide 100,000 sqm of hall space and capacities for 9,300 guests near the airport. This includes a plenum for 2,700 visitors, a 4,900-seat hall and a conference area for a further 1,700 attendees. Thanks to a partition wall system nine to 22 rooms with 20 to 420 seats can also be created. www.messe-stuttgart.de
