Spain. Selenza has commenced restoration work in Madrid to convert a former office building, at Calle Claudio Coello 67, in the Barrio de Salamanca area of the city, into a 5 star luxury hotel. With a surface area of 3.500 m², the building’s basement structure was formerly used as stables and coach houses.

The plot features in the Special Plan which issued from urban development planning undertaken in mid-nineteenth century Madrid. It had a closed block format with an open central yard, which has been conserved. The Hotel Selenza Madrid will have 45 spacious rooms, including Deluxe Suites, Junior Suites and superior rooms. Each room will feature decoration perfectly combining comfort and design.

There will be 24 hour room service, a free mini-bar, individual air conditioning and heating, a direct telephone line, a security safe for laptops, hairdryer, hi-fi system and MP3 connection, DVD and flat-screen LCD, satellite e interactive digital TV and free wi-fi internet access.
