On 1 January 2004 Gegenbauer Gebäudemanagement GmbH took over the management of International Congress Centre Bundeshaus Bonn (IKBB). The main properties of the IKBB are the former German parliament and the historical water works. Since the German parliament moved to Berlin in 1999 the building has been available for meetings with up to 1,275 people, the water works for 600, and the adjacent pump house for 150 people. In addition, 26 meeting rooms are available for up to 150 people. From 31 May to 4 June 2004 the International UN Conference for Renewable Energies will take place there with 2,000 delegates. www.ikbb.de
