Appointement. Ovation Global DMC, the Destination Services Division of MCI, is proud to announce that Aoife Delaney, Director of Global Sales, has been elected Vice President of the Site Board of Directors for 2014.
Aoife’s appointment continues a strong legacy of senior Ovation personalities serving on the Site Board of Directors: Padraic Gilligan, Hugo Slimbrouck, Patrick Delaney and Roger Tondeur have all served as Site President and Sebastien Tondeur was a founding member of the Site Young Leaders Programme in 2006 – an initiative which Aoife served as co-chair of in 2010.
Commenting on her appointment, Aoife said: “being involved with the Site Young Leaders since 2008 and serving as chair of the Site IC in 2011 has provided me with invaluable experience and lasting professional connections. Site provides an outstanding network for meeting and events professionals globally and will continue to flourish under Paul Miller’s presidency in 2014. I am honoured to be given this opportunity to continue Ovation’s superb legacy of leadership with Site.”
