Western Australia. Spotless has appointed a new general manager for the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre (PCEC). After a lengthy search, Mr Dean Lee has joined the award winning venue, replacing Robert Clifford as PCEC general manager. Mr Lee joins PCEC from the Fremantle Sailing Club, where he has held the role as general manager for the past year. Prior to this, Mr Lee was vice president of operations for Coral World International, a developer, owner and operator of major public aquariums throughout the world.

Mr Lee held the position with Coral World International for ten years, during which he oversaw the redevelopment of Perth’s AQWA and the complete development of the company’s newest site, Palma Aquarium in Spain. “Dean has a wealth of business and strategic management experience, together with an extremely strong tourism background”, said group general manager of Spotless’ Food Services division, Tim Sexton. “We are confident he will successfully continue to not only uphold but further improve PCEC’s industry relationships, performance and well regarded reputation.” Former PCEC general manager, Robert Clifford has been promoted within Spotless to state manager hospitality and retail catering in Victoria. www.pcec.com.au
