Roslyn McLeod OAM, founder of Arinex, was nominated as an Honorary Member of the International Association of Professional Congress Organisers (IAPCO) during the 2024 Annual Meeting and General Assembly (AM & GA) in Ljubljana, Slovenia. This lifetime honor recognizes individuals whom the IAPCO General Assembly, on the recommendation of the Council, wishes to honour for their outstanding contribution to the work or reputation of the Association, or to the organisation of international congresses in general.

McLeod’s career in the meetings and events industry spans over five decades, during which Arinex became one of Australia’s most successful PCO businesses. She received numerous accolades, including the Australian Commonwealth Government’s Member of the Order of Australia (OAM) in 1999. Despite her absence from the event, McLeod graciously accepted the honorary membership.

In her gratitude, she highlighted the enriching experiences of collaborating with global PCO peers and contributing to the progress of IAPCO. “To be an Honorary Member of IAPCO warms my heart. Over the years, to join my global PCO peers at our meetings and share in the active progress of the Association was an exhilarating experience. […] Thank you for this honour. I am deeply appreciative.”

The AM & GA serves as a premier annual event where leading PCOs and industry partners convene to discuss trends, share best practices, and foster valuable connections, with this year’s event in Ljubljana showcasing the innovation of the Slovenian meetings industry.
