AUMA. 289 international trade fair participations will be funded by the German ministry of economics and technology (BMWi) in 2008. This will especially offer medium-sized German companies a cost-effective export platform. 116 of the participations will be at fairs in South East, South, East and Central Asia, including 63 fairs in China alone. 67 are planned in Europe, including 62 outside the EU, especially in Russia, followed by the Near and Middle East (37), North America (26) and Latin America (13).
