The Vienna Convention Bureau has become the latest sponsor of ICE Germany following the group’s inception last year. The bureau follows existing headline partners German Convention Bureau, DRPG, Visit Scotland and Cvent, all of which have supported the creation of the awards and education brand in Germany.

The agreement includes sponsorship of the first ever ICE Germany Awards, which takes place 9th December 21, where the Vienna Convention Bureau will also judge and present the Best Innovation and Discovery Award. Vienna Convention Bureau will also be supporting ICE in the UK, as well as both ICE Talk and ICE Day in Germany, with the brand represented at ICE’s ‘How to Enter Workshops’ roadshow in Munich, Berlin and Cologne in September 21.

“We’re excited to be a contributing partner to the ICE community and especially its launch event in Germany this year,” commented May Sollinger-Soucek, Team Manager Corporate at the Vienna Convention Bureau, who will also be on the judging panel. “Germany is one of our key markets and we’re really excited about meeting many of our corporate clients before, during and after the event.”

“We’ve got some really solid momentum behind us in Germany now”, commented Anita Howard, Founder & CEO of ICE. “We want to create a community of likeminded corporate event professionals that we can reward and provide educational services too. We can’t do this without the support of organisations like the Vienna Convention Bureau and we’re really thankful to them.”

Those interested in entering can sign up here to get the announcement emailed to them or can alternatively follow ICE on LinkedIn for updates on the event.
