Finnish researchers have invented a new display, a fog screen to create virtual rooms. The display resembles an outsized picture frame with tiny jets. The system generates a thin fog screen in a non-turbulent airflow. When an image is projected on to the fog screen, it hovers in the room and you can walk through it as often as you like.
