Vancouver. A new accommodation option for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games has sailed into Vancouver. Newwest Special Projects has partnered with Norwegian Cruise Lines to bring the Norwegian Star to Vancouver over the 2010 Winter Games period. The ship will add over 1,000 rooms and suites to Vancouver’s Games-time accommodation inventory and will offer guests all the amenities of a four-star cruise ship. The ship will be permanently docked in North Vancouver, 10 minutes from downtown Vancouver, directly across from Stanley Park. Booking is available now, with packages from 1,550 Euros (2,010 US dollar, approx. $2,530 CAD) for four nights, including all food and transportation (exclusive of service fees, port charges and tax).  www.newwesttravel.com/Van2010.cfm
