The University Challenge presented by FF15 returns following its first edition, which involved eight student teams from universities across the UK. The initiative is designed to provide practical experience in event design, delivery and evaluation while raising funds for charitable causes.
Student event programme supported by industry partners
The 2026 programme will run from February to April, with judging scheduled for May 2026. Student teams will be supported by two industry mentors and will be required to submit a post-event report outlining objectives, delivery, outcomes and reflections. The initiative is delivered in partnership with AEME as education partner, ABPCO as industry partner and Meeting Needs as charity partner. In its inaugural year, participating teams raised more than £4,000 for Meeting Needs projects. The winning team will receive a £1,000 prize, with the top two teams invited to attend the FF15 Graduation event in London in summer 2026. Applications are open to UK university students studying events, hospitality or related subjects and close on 12 February 2026.
