The Meetings Industry Association has appointed Charlotte Podlewska to support its strategic sales and membership growth initiatives. She brings more than 15 years of experience across the meetings, events, hospitality, and visitor economy sectors.

Charlotte Podlewska has joined the Meetings Industry Association to contribute to the organisation’s commercial development and membership strategy. Her professional background spans public and private sector roles, with a focus on business development, destination marketing, and industry collaboration. She has worked closely with destinations, venues, and industry bodies to support growth, strengthen standards, and deliver measurable commercial outcomes aligned with sector priorities.

Experienced Industry Professional Strengthens MIA Team

Prior to joining the MIA, Charlotte Podlewska held business development roles at Grace & Tailor and within Leeds City Council’s Visitor Economy Team, where she led national and international sales activity and supported the acquisition of major events and conferences. She has also advised organisations on strategic sales and marketing as a Managing Partner at Soror Pro Consulting and held senior sales positions within global and independent hotels and venues. In her new role, she will work with MIA members and partners to support engagement, collaboration, and long-term growth across the UK business meetings and events sector.
