The event is organized in collaboration with the Geneva Convention Bureau and the WAIPA Presidency, the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA). The conference marks three decades since WAIPA was founded in Geneva in 1995 with the support of UNCTAD and more than 59 investment promotion agencies. Over the past thirty years, IPAs have evolved into strategic institutions guiding investment flows, supporting governments and investors, and promoting sustainable economic development. The 30th edition will focus on current trends in global investment, including digital transformation, sustainability transitions, supply chain realignment and geopolitical shifts.

Global dialogue and strategic investment in Geneva

Past editions have generated over US$1 billion in investment opportunities through dedicated B2B meetings. Geneva, as a center for diplomacy, finance and multilateral engagement, provides a relevant setting for the conference. The event will combine high-level plenary sessions, ministerial roundtables and networking opportunities to support international cooperation, strengthen investment ecosystems and advance inclusive and resilient growth.
