British event technical production company JLLive has been accredited by the Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA). ESSA is a trade body representing the best suppliers of goods and services to the events industry, focussed on the core principals of Health & Safety, education, and business development.
Having previously been awarded Accredited Supplier Status for Health & Safety in Production by BBC Studios and achieved Albert Sustainable Production Certification for their work in the broadcast and film industries, JLLive have strived towards the ESSA Accreditation since joining the association in February 2021.
The accreditation requires an evaluation of supplier companies’ health and safety and operational processes. This provides a benchmark for prospective clients, venues, and event organisers to differentiate contractors amongst a competitive environment, according to JLLive.
Phil McMichael, Managing Director at JLLive, says: “This is an incredibly important step in the right direction for JLLive, showcasing our commitment to help re-ignite the events industry and assist Organisers, Agencies and Corporates alike to build back better. ESSA recognises the increasingly competitive environment that our industry faces, which now holds extreme value following the pandemic.”
JLLive draws on its TV heritage to deliver broadcast quality events and imaginative experiences including the creative use of video, lighting, sound, set, stage and event spaces. JLLive’s offering is targeted at agencies working with large corporates who need creative technical expertise to help deliver brand communications, targeting live and hybrid event attendees and view-on-demand audiences.
