The Board of Directors of Kongresshaus Zürich AG has appointed 58-year-old Michel Loris-Melikoff as the new Director and CEO of the Kongresshaus. He will take up his duties next week.

The 58-year-old lawyer can look back on many years of experience in the event business. From 2000, he organized various major events. He then took over the management of a Zurich event agency and organized numerous events throughout Switzerland for national and international clients. From 2010, he managed several event centers in Switzerland, such as the St. Jakobshalle Basel, the Umweltarena in Spreitenbach and Beaulieu Lausanne (exhibition halls, theater and congress center).

Loris-Melikoff succeeds Roger Büchel as CEO. He had decided to leave the company at the end of 2023 in order to pursue other professional opportunities.
